It was Excellent working with the Werrlein Companies. They did a beautiful job adding a ground floor bedroom and bath to my 27 year old home. My first requirement was to get the exterior looking like it had been here since the house was built. Steve Mitchell nailed it exactly. It’s beautiful. All of the crews were great to work with and Jon Werrlein is a real gentleman who took a personal interest throughout the job. We recently had hardwood floors installed, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The craftsmanship was outstanding—the floors are absolutely beautiful, with clean lines, smooth transitions, and a flawless finish that completely transformed our home. The installation team was professional, punctual, and clearly took pride in their work. They paid close attention to detail, made sure everything was level and seamless, and kept the workspace clean throughout the project. They also took the time to answer questions and explain the process, which made us feel confident every step of the way. What really stood out was the quality of the final result. The wood grain and finish look incredible, and you can tell it was done with care and precision. We’ve already received so many compliments from friends and family. We did a major bathroom and second floor renovation and couldn't be happier with Werrlein starting with the design process  with Alex all the way through to the end. They turned our 1980's bathrooms and awkward floor plan into a showpiece. Their workmanship is top notch and the their contractors are professional as well as skilled. We were so impressed how they prepped our house for a three month renovation and cleaned up every day when they left for the day. It sounds like a given but having hired many contractors over the years and in my profession as a realtor, Werrlein is hands down the best. A special shout out to Marc Donaldson, our project manager for the patience and professionalism he showed during the renovation. He dealt with our changes and numerous questions with a smile on his face even though I am sure he wanted to kill us at times:). Highly recommend Werrlein Companies!! We had a great experience from start  to finish, from planning to every step of the project. Jon & Mike were super friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. They advised as well as listened to all of our hopes and dreams for our backyard patio project and retaining wall. Our pool and patio now look spectacular and the retaining wall and stairs, which were very well built with attention to detail have made our steep hill and yard both more useful as well as controlling erosion perfectly. Their ideas were great and made our project go so smoothly it was amazing how they were so organized and timely with every step.  Because they were so qualified and proficient we were able to go on with our daily lives with minimal disruption and with such a wonderful outcome and finished  beautiful yard. We can’t say enough about their professionalism and courtesy, hard working crew, what an amazing job!!!  We have had them do other projects at our business as well and would recommend them for any project. I want to sincerely thank John, Mike, Alex, and the entire Werrlein team for the outstanding work on my home. This was my second major renovation with them, and once again, they delivered exceptional results. The scope included a full interior renovation and exterior painting. The quality of work is phenomenal—I get compliments from nearly everyone who visits. The attention to detail and craftsmanship truly reflect the high standards that Werrlein brings to every project. Like any large renovation, a few issues came up along the way, but we were able to collaboratively address them. We worked through everything together, and the final product speaks for itself. The quick response is the best! I’ve used Werrlein for plumbing, HVAC, complete kitchen & bathroom renovations, new deck and more! The communication is super and they have so many skill sets in house that it makes the jobs run smoothly. Also appreciate the design conversations & insights provided. When we were house hunting, we saw a home that Werrlein had built and were really impressed with the style and craftsmanship. We ended up purchasing an old home that needed updates. We called Werrlein before even closing so that we could get estimates and an early start on work (flooring, paint, HVAC) before moving in. My partner called several times. The assistant on the phone was very kind in leaving messages, but it took multiple times for a call back. Eventually, Karl came out to measure and discuss the job. After five days of silence, we checked in on the status of the estimate and were told that it would be to us in "a day or so." It's been 12 days, and we have not received a quote. Other contractors have gotten back to our initial inquiries within 12 hours and taken 1-5 days to produce a quote after visiting. We plan to completely renovate the kitchen in the next 6-12 months then have some additional (bathroom, primary suite, and deck) projects down the line and were hoping to work with Werrlein throughout. We expressed this at the time and are very disappointed at the lack of communication and follow-up. We find their work to be exceptional and even put our first offer on a house they had built, so we were really excited about the prospect. It's a shame to not be prioritized in working together.
